Material Design Studio, focused on art direction, branding, editorial, and web design, was founded in Santiago, Chile (2007–2012) by Sebastián Rodríguez and Alejandro Matamala .

Currently, SR and AM run remotely from Toronto and New York City, respectively, a small and experimental publishing project called Ediciones Daga.
